Text messages
Last updated October 25, 2026
QuoteDash, run by QuoteDash LLC, sends text messages for the contractors who use it. This page explains what the messages are, how you agree to them, and how to stop them.
What you will receive
Texts about a job you asked a contractor to quote or do, sent on the contractor's behalf: a link to your quote, your invoice or a change to the job; your deposit or payment link; a thank-you after you accept a quote; a scheduling note; and reminders about an unanswered quote, an unpaid deposit, invoice or progress payment, or a change waiting for your approval. They are about your job only. We don't send marketing or promotions.
How you agree
You agree when you give the contractor your mobile number and ask them to quote or do work, understanding that they will text you about that job. The contractor enters your number into QuoteDash and is responsible for having your permission. Agreeing is not a condition of buying anything: you can ask the contractor to contact you another way.
How often
It depends on the job. Usually a few messages per job: the quote or invoice, and then reminders only if you haven't responded. Automatic reminders are limited: for a quote, 1 follow-up; for a deposit, up to 3; for an overdue invoice, up to 3. The contractor can also send you a message themselves.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
Stop and help
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts; you will get one confirmation and no more. Reply HELP for help, or contact dcuthbert123@gmail.com. You can also contact the contractor directly. If you stop messages and later want them again, ask the contractor to send you a new link.
Carriers and privacy
Mobile carriers aren't liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery isn't guaranteed. We use your number only to send these messages and don't share it, or your consent to be texted, with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See the privacy policy and terms of service.
