How to read your reports and export your data

Reports shows how the business is doing: what came in, what is still owed, and how many quotes turn into jobs. You can also download everything.

Steps

  1. Open Reports. On a phone, it is under Menu.
  2. Choose a period: This month, Last month, Last 90 days, This year or All time.
  3. Read the figures: money received, invoiced, quotes accepted, quotes made, win rate, and what is still owed.
  4. Look at the 12-month chart, how you were paid, and your top paying customers.
  5. At the bottom, download Payments, Invoices, All jobs, All customers or Costs as a CSV file. It opens in Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets.

Good to know

  • Money received counts a payment on the day it was paid, so a job paid partly in September and partly in October is split between the months.
  • Win rate is the share of quotes made in the period, and sent, that have been accepted.
  • Months and periods follow the time zone in your Settings.
  • A download only ever contains your own business's data.

Questions

Can I take my data with me?
Yes. The CSV downloads at the bottom of Reports cover your payments, invoices, jobs, customers and costs.
Why doesn't a payment show in the month I expected?
Payments count on the day they were paid, in your time zone. Check the date on the payment.
