How to add site photos and show them to customers

Photos of the job help you draft the quote, and they can help your customer understand it too. You choose which photos your customer sees. They start out private.

Steps

  1. Tap New quote and open the capture panel at the top.
  2. Add up to 6 photos from your camera or gallery. QuoteDash shrinks them for you.
  3. Save the quote. The photos are kept with the job.
  4. Open the quote and find Site notes. Each photo has a Show button.
  5. Tap Show on a photo to put it on your customer's quote and PDF. A box appears for an optional caption.
  6. Tap the button again, now marked Shown to customer, to hide the photo.

Good to know

  • Photos are private unless you tap Show. Your site notes are only ever for you.
  • Tap a photo to open it full size.
  • If you tap Draft quote with AI, the photos are read to help draft it. You still check every line before sending.
  • A photo's caption shows beneath it on your customer's quote.

Questions

Can my customer see all my photos?
No. They see only the photos you tap Show on, with the captions you write.
How many photos can I add?
Up to 6 when you start a quote. Remove one with the cross on its picture to make room.
