How to fill it in

  • Fill in the top and the plan the day before, so the crew has it when they start.
  • Put the start time and the customer's contact on site where everyone can see them.
  • Use the checklist to catch the small things that cost a morning: access, materials, protecting the site.
  • At the end of the day, write down the hours each person worked. Compared with your plan, they show how long jobs really take.

Questions

Is this template really free?
Yes. Download the PDF, print it, or fill it in on screen. You don't need an account.
Do I need one sheet per job per day?
It is built for that. One sheet for each job each day keeps the address, the people and the hours together. You can reuse the same sheet over several days by changing the date.
Can I use it for any trade?
Yes. It has no trade-specific wording, so it works for painting, plumbing, electrical, roofing and the rest.
